So with this week Valentine’s Day, you can’t help but think of love. For us singles it can be a hard week! For me I have been in love or in significant relationships 4 times in my life. Each relationship taught me much about that person but more about myself. I am thankful for each of them now as I look back. Right now there isn’t a significant other in my life but I am still surronded by love. I think those of us who are single can look around and see how lucky we are really in the realms of love. I have the love of a wonderful daughter that my Heavenly Father blessed me with. I am lucky to have good friends that I love dearly. I have a great sister and mom that i love too and I know they love me. I have an extended family that I do love as well…all we have to do is look and we can see the love around us. For me I find that makes me one lucky girl this Valentine’s Day.

Agreed! I’m single this year and have nothing but gratitude for the good things in my life like friends that would give me a kidney and have been there for me, a loving family and a place to make a difference. That still doesn’t mean that I don’t change the channel when there are icky Vday ads on.
